Bikram Essentials: Mini Posture Sessions + Class
5-Week Bikram Yoga Workshop | Sundays | Starts February 15

A yoga instructor, nutrition and plant medicine consultant, and athletic fitness trainer, Anna is a lifelong vegan and animal equality advocate. She has been teaching Bikram Yoga since 2006, after completing the BY Teacher Training in Los Angeles, CA. She has also completed International Council for Homeopathy Certifications in Nutritional Medicine, Ayurvedic Nutrition, and Herbal Medicine—in addition to over 500+ hours RYT in Restorative Yoga Therapy and BreathWork.
What Each Session Includes
Each two-hour session blends education and embodied practice:
45–50 minute mini posture clinic focusing on alignment, setup, technique, and common challenges
A guided Bikram Yoga class featuring:
Two rounds of the postures explored that day
One full round of the remaining postures for integration
Sessions build progressively across five weeks, but each workshop can also be taken individually.
Students who enroll in the full series receive all five workshops at a bundled rate.

Session 1: The Foundation
This session establishes the structural foundation of the series, focusing on spinal alignment, weight distribution, and how standing postures prepare the body for the floor.

Half Moon Pose (Ardha-Chandrasana)
Hands to Feet (Pada-Hasthasana)
Awkward Pose (Utkatasana)
Head to Knee & Stretching Pose (Janushirasana & Paschimotthanasana)
Spine-Twisting Pose (Ardha-Matsyendrasana)
Session 2: One-Legged Balancing
This session builds balance, stability, and concentration while refining alignment in one-legged postures.

Eagle Pose (Garurasana)
Standing Head to Knee (Dandayamana-Janushirasana)
Standing Bow Pose (Dandayamana-Dhanurasana)
Balancing Stick (Tuladandasana)
Session 3: The Hipsters
This session focuses on hip mobility, lateral strength, and lower-body stability while protecting the knees and lower back.

Session 4: Spine Lengthening & Strengthening
This session emphasizes spinal strength, mobility, and safe backbending through posterior-chain engagement.

Session 5: The Floor Benders
This final session integrates the work of the entire series through deep floor postures, emphasizing patience, breath, and intelligent setup.
